Accused was convicted and discharged, tin order 'bring mticlo for tho return of the stolon goods. ■Robert Stockbridgo Was charged with thft theft on or about July 11, at Knitaratahi, of two totara strainer-posts, valued at £4, the properly of the cstato of the late Georgo Scott. Defendant was convicted and fined 10s, and ordered to pay costs amounting to 10s 9d. William Henry Brown, charged With tailing to scud his child . regularly to school, undertook to see that attendance was more regular m future.
