In the House of Representatives Mr. Glynn stated that adequate steps were being taken to preserve order in the Northern Territory. He had . telegraphed to Mr Carey, stating that the officials were not to leave the Territory. In reply to questions, he said that an attempt nad been mado to establish a Provisional Government, but none of the requests made under duress were acceded to.
