WHAKATANE' S BIG LOAN.
(per Press Association.) WHAKATANE, this day. Yesterday the borough ratepayers carried the £70,500 loan proposal by ,a majority of five to one, to provide good roads, water, surface drainage, and hydro-electric light and power.
