NEW INDUSTRIES.
INQUIRIES FOR AUSTRALIA. , LONDON, July 26.— Mr. James Elder has been interviewing manufacturers in regard to the establishment of new in- j dustries in Australia. He finds they are willing to do so at a more opportune time than the present, which is an anxious period for many industries owing to labor difficulties. He sees no reason why Australian manufactured articles -should not find a ready market in England? especially jams and tinned fruits, which have already been popularised. Be believes there will also be great possibilities in France and other, parts of the Continent before long.
