METHODISTS "ADOPT" TWELVE FRENCH VILLAGES.
' NEW YORIC ,May s.— Twelve villages on tho Chateau Thierry battlefield, when-© American soldiers helped to halt the German drive dn Paris last summer, _ have been "adopted" for reconstruction work by the American Methodist Episcopal Church, it was announced early to-day by the Methodist centenary committee. The actual com struction of buildings- is being done by the French Government, but the church will contribute clothing, kitchen utensils and farm 'machinery.
