Langworthy, of Hutt, Welh'ngton (representing the Lister Shearing Machine Co.), as the result of injuries sustained tluwigh a motorcycle and side-car > colliding with a trap near Femhill last night, is serious, and causing ' grave anxiety. C. Stubbs, who was driving th& motor-cycle, was not seriously injured. Auckland, this day. At the Supreme Court the jury awarded William Edgar Phillips £681 damages against the Auckland Tramway Company, an action' ■for for an injury caused m a collision between a tram-car and lorry. The company intimated that it would move for a new trial, on the ground that the velridict' was against th© weight of evidence. ■
