1•' v;;- v "- ♦-'-* ' Tlie P.B. Stockbrokers' Association held their jnonthly at Te Karaka; yards yesterday*, when there was a good attendance. The entry consisted of. 1500 sneep and 400 head of cattle. Practically the whole of the sheep offered met with a ready sale, especially lambs, ; which; showed a marked, improvement on prc-. vious sales. There was only a small entry of fat cattle,* and there was' practically, no competition for the lots offered. Store, cattle sold fairly well, most of the yarding changing hands at prices m keeping' with previous sales. The following aro prices which some of the lots made : — Woolly lambs brought from 12s $d. to. 13s lid ; poorer quality 7« 4d to, 11b ;. 2-tooth wethers 20s; shorn lambs 9s 8d tolls lid ; empty ewes from > 14s to 17s 6d.i Cattle: Mixed weaners from £5. t0 £6 ( 16s; cows m calf, fair, £8j 18-months; steel's, £9 ; 18-months heifers, £8 10s ; 2^-year-old steera £llc'
