» ' I The following additional business was transacted at the district executive meeting this afternoon: — - > The Marlborough branch wrote as follows : "Further'-- to your circular letter of February 15, and resolutions contained therein, I have to say that the matters mentioned! were discussed at the annual general meeting of this Union, held, today, and! th© resolutions named m your letter were passed and ordered to be forwarded to the Prime Minister and to all members of the Cabinet." — Received. | The Auckland Provincial Executive wrote as follows: "At a meeting of my executive, held last month, it was resolved tihat,. pending the alterations of th© rules of the Union, that the subprovincial districts be asked to nominate one member for election on, the provincial«executive. I shall therefore be glad if you will bring this- matter before your branches and let m© know m due course the name of the nominee of your subprovincial district." — It was decided tc appoint Mr R. Murphy as a member.
