FRENCH COMMUNIQUE.
EIGHTEEN ENEMY AEROPLANES BROUGHT DOWN. 'Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.! (Reuter's Telegram.) LONDON, May 16. A French communique reports marked reciprocal artillery activity north and south of the Avre. Eighteen enemy aeroplanes were brought down on the 15th and four captive balloons were set afire.
