SOLDIERS' PAY CARDS.
250,000 TO BE CHECKED. MELBOURNE, March 26. With the arrival from England of a batch of Aiifitralian pay. clerks who. have brought with them from the A.I.F. headquarters m London the pay cards of every Australian soldier on active.service, steps are to be taken by the defence authorities^immediately to rectify my discrepancies, that may exist m .regard to London .and Australian pay.records. The accounts of at least 250,000 men will be cheeked.
