DUNEDIN, last night. At the Supreme Court, Williamson Currie, on a charge of forgery m connection with an alteration of a railway privilege ticket, was ordered to be imprisoned till 'the rising of the Court. Albert Victor Burrell Avas charged Avith placing an obstruction on a railAvay line. Without retiring, the jury found accused not guilty .on the ground of insanity at the time the action Avas committed. The Judge committed accused to a mental . hospital till the pleasure of the Minister for Justice' is known.

Tliomas Moffatt (66 years) was convicted on a charge of indecently assaulting a youth of 18. In view of accused's previous good character, a fine of £25 AVas inflicted,- accused to be detained for three months or until the fine is paid. , AndreAv Townley, a stock dealer, av.ip convicted of failure Yo keep proper accounts. Sentence was deferred.
