LONDON, Nov. 6. Tho Ministry of Food has fixed the price of Danish butter at 2295, thus bringing imported and home-produced bntterr on to the same level.

LONDON, Nov. 6. Professor Yapp, m a speech at London, said : "While our food position is serious, the position of the Central Powers is still mora serious. The only commodity Germany had m any degree resembling ns was potatoes, of which an allowance, of seven jsounds per head weekly was made. Tliere was. no tea m Germany. The weekly raition m Germany of bread or fiour was five pounds for a person doing heavy work, and- 4^ibs for others j meat, nine ounces ; sugar, six ounces ; .butter, 3£ ounces, and twenty-eix eggs were allowed to each person yearly."
