(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, last night. Sir Joseph Ward intimated m the" Houb6 that he had been advised that the U.&S. Co. had subscribed £250,000 to the War Loan. The National Mutual Life Assurance Co. had contributed •£60,000. WELLINGTON, this day. Subscriptions to the war loan by members of the Commercial Travellers' Association amount to £96,540. i INVERCARGILL, last night. The . following Invercargill investments m the War Loan have been made during the last two days : Southland Frozen ,Meat Co. £12,000, Murrays, Ltd. £5000, i two business firms £5000 and £4000. re- j spectively. Two citizens £2000 and £1000 respectively. . ; \ ,- WANGANUI, last night. Tlie Wangamii Foi'esters' Lodge decided to invest £500 m the War Loan.
