Many hundreds of young people are robbed of their educational opportunity by the impoverishment of their homes through, drink, whereby they, are deprived of their right to a fair chance m life, and at the same . time their value to the State Is greatly depreciated. It is suggested, that If those Boards and co*nmittees which "agree with this brief statement of the case were willing to communicate their views to the Minister or Education and to the member of Pavaliament for their respective districts, such expressions of opinion j would have great weight." ■:.■'■..
