THE LATEST SUBMARINES.
(Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) (Received Sept. 1, 10.35 a.m.) COPENHAGEN, August 31. The Germans have launched a number of submarines 340 feet long and of 1500 tons. They each have a crew of fifty and carry forty torpedoes, many shells, and mines to be used m mine laying m the Atlantic near the (British coast.
