TUB LIQUOR QUESTION

CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Mr J. A :> Frostick, the Canterbury Commissioner, says that at next meeting of the. National Efficiency Board, at Wellington, on the 23rd inst., evidence will be taken on the liquor question. Invitation-*' ,-have already been sent m Christchurch to recognised representatives of tho liquor trade, also to the New Zealand Alliance, Ministers' Association, and. Avom en's organisations. The evidence will be taken m camera. During the month the Commissioner will be considering -proposals for the partial restriction of parcels delivery, and for the organisation; of deliveries outside certain weight limits within the city, with a view to secure economy m men, horses, and vehicles.'
