GREYMOUTH, last night. The Paparoa minei'S, who struck work to-day over a question as to payment for certain timbering Work, which had been a subject for discussion at the previtous conference, decided to-night to return, to work to-morrow, pending the conference to bo held on May 9, on the condition that the increase, if granted by the conference, will date from tomorrow. For the present, the men are resuming on the old rate.
