HAMILTON, this day

At the Magistrate's Court this morning before Mr Rawson, David Morgan Leckie, alias Morgan, a one-armed man, was charged that on or about April 16, 1917, at Hamilton, he did murder Albert Ryan, win was found m au unconscious condition; with a fractured skull, at Frankton Junction hotel, on April 16th, and died <>n the l©tli. Senior-Sergeam Cassells siiid the police evidence would be practif.illy the same as at tlie inquest. Under cross-examination, Drs. Nooiian and Douglas stated they liad seen no signs of old wounds or marked 1 depressions m the skull of deceased. Dr. Douglas said tlie results which he had seen on the body of deceased might have been produced by his falling out od bed! or falling against a bedstead.
