ST. PATRICKS BAZAAR AND FANCY FAIR.
WAERENGA-A-HIKA HALL.
The hall was crowded last night and the stallrholderft were kept busy until 10 p.m.- exhibiting the numerous : articles to be drawn and for sale. Eager and jealous eyes ■ were cast specially upon a handsome clock, a costly and d&intysUver tea-set, three beautifully finished oil- paintings by distinguished painters, one a rare painting, Michael Davitt, presented by Mrs O'Dywer, a beautiful hand, painted - mirror,-' and two life-sized dolls. The games -were well patronised, especially by the school boys, some of whom showed themselves experts m shooting' down wild pigs and feathered game. The hall is neatly decorated with flags, spanners and paper lanterns, and will present a pleasing appearance to-night, when it will have received its final touch. The refreshment stalls were well patronised, so that Mi?s iN^enim . and , her ■willing assistants wero kept busy from B to 10 p.m. The fair is open each, afternoon aiidi to-night. The games andl competitions will be coiityrued 1 as. on last night.
