BRITISH CASUALTIES.
LIGHTER LAST MONTH. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) (Received February 2, 9.20 a.m.) LONDON, February 1, The Daily Telegraph states that the British casualties published m January were : Killed 282 officers, 8649 men; wounded and missing, 674 officer*and 24,155 men ; prisoners 5 officer* and 100 men; total 33,865, as compared with a total of 40,664 m December, 77,791 m November and 106,606 m October.
