GREECE AND THE ENTENTE.
RE!PLY TO ULTIMATUM. I
WANTS THE BLOCKADE RAISED. (Reuter's Telegram.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) ATHENS, January 12. TJhe Greek reply to the ultimatum makes the Allies' concessions, accompanied by conditions, including raising the blockade. The reply states:— • Firstly, m view of the Entente's guarantees not to extend action on land or sea, and recognising that the Entente's pricipal aim is to secure the safety of their troops, Greece agrees to carry out the transportation of Greek troops and Avar material. Secondly, Greece agrees to the reestablishment of the Eintentd's control of troops without intervention m administration or communications. Thirdly, Greece will make reparations as demanded respecting the outbreak on December 1, and will also release persons detained. Fourthly, Greece will make indemnincati6n for sufferers m conformity with the Greek laws. Finally, as the military removals are almost accomplished, and this ultimatum is accepted, Greece requests the immediate raising of the blockade. (Australian and N.Z.
