GERMANY'S "PLEDGE" TO RESPECT NEUTRALITY. (The Times.) LONDON, January 5. The Daily Mail's Berne correspondent says public messages have been reiterated, giving warnings thai Germany may attempt to force a passage through Swiss territory. This lias caused the President and members of the Government to state that Germany has given most . definiteand formal assonances that she will re^ spect Swiss neutrality, but should such mad folly be committed, Switzerland will resist to the last man. •
