BRITISH MUNITION RESOURCES. (Reuter's Telegram:) WASHINGTON, January 5. .Surprise has been caused by the Secretary of the Navy's statement that England is contracting to fuiyiish large consignments of shells , for the United States Navy; It is announced that , British munitions resources are far above war requirements.
