In order to economise supplies as f ar as possible, many articles of men's aud women's attire, have been struck off the list of things exempted from the : German card These iuclude' all secondhand clothing, for the purchase of which tickets will be necessary. Of the 2000 taxicabs m Berlin only 800 are m use. The use of taxicabs for all •purposes of personal- pleasure, such as theatre, circus, race, and concert going, is to be forbidden.
