FIRE AT TE ARAROA.
A fire occurred at Te Ai-aroa to-day by wliich considerable .damage- was .done to tho hotel building, of wluch Mir 3). G .Hawkins is the proprietor. The advice to .hand states that the fire was subdued, tho being duo clueny to the efforts to savfl the .building. It 'is . partly a two-storied structure, one portion" having only been erected m 1912. Tho amount <>f the insurance was not ascertainablo this afternoon.
