IMPERIAL GOVERNMENT'S PRICE REFUSED.
(Special Corespondent.) > WELLINGTON, this day. The negotiations between the Government and the New Zealand cheese producers for the purchase, on Imperial account, of a portion of the season's output, have fallea through. The, producers quote B£d per pond as the mhnmunv which the Government was unable to accept. The factories prefer to sell, to representatives of Eiigligh firms at the price offered by them rather than accept the Imperial Government's terms.
