TURKEY'S UNSATISFACTORY REPLY TO PROTEST. BATTLESHIPS MAY BE. SENT. (United Service.) NEW YORK, July 19. The Sun says America is confronted with a crisis with Turkey, and battleships may be sent to the eastern Mediterranean' to protect American lives and property. Missionaries may be instructed to leave Turkey, whose reply to a protest against the seizure of mission property and the ill-treatment of the Consular Agent at Damascus was highly unsatisfactory.
