DOG TRIALS.
/"The -22nd meeting of the Poverty Bay Sheep-ddg Trials Club was menced at .Ormond yesterday. Thejudge, is MrGLHawkins, and' the timekeeper Mr W. Tucker. The sheep'pserf for' the trial have been lent by Mr Hingston. For the first part of the'day the weather wa« wet, and against* good work *by the dogs, but in the Jafternoon the -.rain cleared off, and the wor^ of the dogs improved, several good., iruns being made. The, first class was,npt completed yesterday, and so was continued this morning, ; the v result being as follows : E. B. Hingston's Ruf£ ' 29^points, 1; E. M. Mcßae's /Ken;*.'' 27' 1 ooints, 2; E.
