The works of Chas. Dickens are too well known to need introduction, but when these masterpieces of pathos and humor are displayed m picture form, the interest is accentuated and a new interest is added. The World's Pictures have secured at enormous expense f/hat immortal work "Barn^by Budge." This magnificent picture is the most lengthy of all picturisations of Dickens' works arid the story is complete m detail. The num- ; ber of performers engaged exceeds .any previous picture production and the producing of the film cost a fortune, but its exceeding popularity has caused such large attendances wherever shown that the production 'has proved worthy of the cost. The whole of the story is display- . Ed m five distinct acts, and patrons -who have not read this work will be able to see and digest m one and a naif hours that which would take- some considerable time to road. Another star film will be "Britain's New Army," which should be interesting at the present june- , ture of the war. The cartoons,, which have so popular, will be continued m "John Bull's Sketch Book.'*
