A BUGLER, BOY.
A correspondent' writes: —The other day some of our men cam© upon a small skeleton beyond, one of our treta- \ ohes. The identification disc showed that tho khaki uniform contained the mortal remains of a bugler of tho Can- ] terbury Regiment. He had been, posted as missing. The remains -were ''gathered ( together, and th© New- Zealand soldiers gave him decent burial on the hills of . GallipoH, far away from his home and • hip native land. It was strange that r this boy had! not been discovered before. especially during the armistice. Poor lad, he must have fallen nobly m the 2 front during those critical days when 1 mtt men gained a footing, and held c their ground. jf
