Romney cross 13s 4d, 2 tooth ewes small 14& Id, 6,.year ewes 9<s 7d to 10s 9d, aged ewes *7s lid to 9s 3d, forward ewes 13s, shorn lambs small 8s 6d, do. culls 5s Bd-. Pigs: Mostly weupers entered, and owing to the shortage of milk and the high price of graii* there was. no demand. Alost of tlio lines were passed. Good weaners sold at 6s. Fat cattle-: A hist class denvuuL Qvorylhinu. eufcgred Holing readily. Heavy weight cows £9 12s 6d, fair cows £o 2s 6d to £7 10s, light cows £5 2s 6d, steers £9 7s 6d. Store cattle : Only a small entry of weaners, and no demand. Most farmers are holding back their cattlo for the special Cattle Fair on April 7th, for whicli a good entry has been received.
