LONDON, Nov. 24. Two Lowestoft fishing boats- were sunk by mines, and their crews were lost. A German aeroplane bombed Baillieu. killing three British wounded m an ambulance. (London Times and Sydney Sun Services.) LONDON, Nov. 23. The Times' correspondent m West Flanders says it is a mistake to assume that life m the trenches necessarily entails a maximum of discomfort. The Allied soldiers are comfortable, living for the most part below the surface. They have so^ banked themselves about that wind, rain, and sleet have noW no great terrors. The -soldiers' mud-walled compartments are possibly warmer than | hygienists approve. j A telegram from the Hague reports j that the Kaiser has decided to return to Berlin shortly. The reason given is that he wishes to attend the Reichstag session. Instructions have been given to prepare his, Berlin Castle for a long j sojourn. The Berlin newspapers have I been enjoined to rouse loyal feeling m order that the Kaiser may be given a warm welcome. He really returns from the front because he feared otherwise to met an icy reception from his disappointed people.
