DIAMOND JUBILEE.

DUNEDIN, this day. It has been resolved by the Dunedin Presbytery to arrange for the celebration of the diamond jubilee of the Presbytery of Otago next month. .There is no Presbytery of Otago now, but that was the title of the first organised Presbyterian body m New Zealand. Preliminary arrangements for tli-e celebration wore sanctioned yesterday. In the course of the 'discussion the Rev. J. Chishblm, tho Jiistorian of the Church, gave ,tho order m which the various Presbyteries were fanned — Otago. 27th. 'June, 1844; Auckland, 15th October, 1856; Wellington, 3rd November,. 1857; Canterbury, 15th January, 1864; Hawke's Ray, 10th December, 186§; Nelson, 13th January. 1869; TinVaru, 24th September, 1873; Westland, 7th January, 1874; Waiiganui, March, 1884.
