PALMERSTON WINTER SHOW.
Those who had thc pleasure of putting m four very enjoyable days at. the Palmerston Winter Show of 1913 will be interested to learn that this year's fixture is timed for 16th, 17th, 18th, and 19th of June next, and those who contemplate visiting same can now make the very necessary arrangements for accommodation. The forthcoming event is again to be an advance on the magnificent achievements of previous years. A splendid programme is now m course of preparation,, and to that attention is directed. The first instalment dealing with the dairy factory produce shows a marked advance on last year, there being two new classes m cheese and one m butter. The prize money m the cheese is advanced by over £50, bringing it now abreast of th? butter. This is a recognition of the importance / of the growth of the chree industry, and largely-increased entries are looked for. When the general schedule is printed it will again be referred to.
