NAPIER, this day. The Monowai sails for 'North at 11 p.m. Passengers for Gisborne : Mrs Gumming ; Messrs Richmond, Thack-er, Collins, Wyllie, Holdsvrorth, Potae (2), Rangi, Burgess, Findlay, .Piripi, Mackie, Bell, Kemp, Falconer, Barker, Sandtmann, Forsythe, Caldwell, and Colonel Sandtmann.

The following have booked passages to Napier by the s.s. Takapuna this evening : — Misses Wilson, • Gordon, V. Jones, Mesdames King, Smith and child, McConnell, Mr and Mrs Lord, Messrs E. R. Skeet, Lawrie, A. Falconer, W. H. Gavin, Clarke, Bourke, Smith, R. 'Williams, Rowe, Pell, Birss, Glass, A. A. Marshall, L. S. Clare, Rose, Stark, J. S. Handyside, and Herdman. The bookings 'for Auckland by tho 3.5. Monowai are as follows : — Misses f. Crawford, Burch, Imago, Nurse Newton, Mesdames T. A. Crawford, Cumming, McLeay, Goodwin, Trafford and infant, Mr and Mrs Hutchison and 2 children, Mr and Mvs Brabazan, Messrs J. L. Graham, Ambridge, J. H. Ormond, Warnock, Kearslcy, Falconer, Kemp, Bell, Mackie, G. Holmes, J. A. Taylor, W. J. Green, Carey, Parsons, Dnnlop, Image, and Bcilly. The s.s. Ruru sailed for Napier from Pakarae to-day with 180 bales of wool. The auxiliary schooner Elsie Mary, which is on her way to Greymouth, was early this week sheltering at Tolaga Bay. ■•'
