I The machinery of the Magistrate's Court was invoked to-day to settle a dispute between Paku Teha, of Waltuhi (Mr Hei) and Teka Nepia, a claim for £20, being £15 the value of a chest; nut horse and £5 dra mages for detention of same. After hearing the evidence Mr W. A. Barton, S.M., gave judgment for plaintiff for £16, being £15 the value of the horse, and -Q1 damages, the £15 to be reduced to 10s if the horse is returned within 48 hpr ..*. Costs amounting fr> £4 13s were allow ed against the defendant,,
