RESORT TO DIPLOMACY. (Press Assn.— By Telegraph— Copyright.) WASHINGTON, February 6. After a protracted conference between Mr Bryan and the House Immigration Commitee, Mr Bryan announced as a practical certainty that no anti-Asiatic legislation would be enacted m the present session of Congress. Mr Bryan discussed the whole course of the negotiations with Japan and pleaded with members of the committee not to take action m the Raker Bill, m order to leave the -Government free to deal diplomatically with the immigration questions. Tho committee thereupon decided to posPpone Asiatic exclusion measures indefinitely.
