ESTATES OF THE DUKES. . (Press Assn.— By Telegraph— Copyright.) LONDON, February 5. The Duke of Sutherland's solicitor protests against Mr Lloyd George implying perjury against the executors, and says the latter, m fixing the value of £400,000, deducted heavy mortgages, as they were entitled to do. Baron de Forest, who has accepted Lord Derby's offer to sell the Bootle estates for £1,500,000, writing to Lord Derby, remarked that the site of Bootle was bought by the Derby family m 1722 for £7000, and the annual income today is not less than £100,000.
