The Labor Conference has resumed the discussion oh the abolition of the Upper House. , Women delegates advocated placing several women m the position of legislators. The conference decided that the names of all future nominees to the Legislative Council be submitted to the Central Executive of the Labor League for endorsement, thus placing the nominees to the Upper House on the same footing as the Labor party candidates for the Legislative Assembly.
