PANIC IN SERVIA
BUILDINGS BADLY DAMAGED AND DEATHS CAUSED. (Press Assn.— By Telegraph— Copyright.) (Received June 17, 9.30 a.m.) BELGRADE, June 16. There have been several earthquake shocks at Tirnova. There were subterranean rumblings throughout the day, and a great panic ensued. Churches and other buildings were badly damaged. Many houses were rendered uninhabitable. A number of deaths were caused, being due to falling masonry. Most of the bakeries were destroyed, and bread has to be obtained from neighboring villages.
