GUN CLUB NOTES.

Tlie Kero Gun Club were again very fortuhiate in* having a fine day for their monthly, shoot on Saturday, the 7th inst. A good crowd of shooters attended, and taking it all through the shooting was an Improvement on 'the last . performances.: A big programme was. gone through, as .will be ' seen from, results below. Afternoon tea was served by Mrs Glennie, arid altogether a most enJoVable day was spent. At practice one evening during the week Mrs Stevens accounted for 17 clay pigeons out ct 23 off the 15 yards mark,! and at the target with , the*, pea-rifle Mrs Glennie scored 29 out of a possible 30. The next shoot has been arranged for the 12th prox. The result of Saturday's shoot- was as under:— Ist Event: Mr Sherratt's trophy, with 2s Cd sweep added; six birds from handicap, marks— S. G. .Glennie, 19yds, C; R. Mcßac. 16yds, 4; T. Peel, 15yds, 3. 2nd Event: Mr Glennle's trophy, with 2s' sweep added; six , birds, handicap marks— t. Lancaster, 14yds (5 birds), 1 (leg m); S. Priestley, 15yds (4 birds), 2; J. Hamilton, 13yds (3 birds), 3. 3rd Event: >tr C. White's trophy, with 2s sweep added; 6 birds, handicap marks — H.
