A special musical programme has been arranged, and Scotch airs, etc., will pervade the atmosphere, whilst; the. fortunes of Jean, -her Scotch laddie, and Jean the Collie will flit airily through space to finally rest on the screen : for the edification of patrons. . Miss Florence Turner plays the star part, -.and- as a winsome Scotch lassie .she is hard to .beat. ..Another Vitagraph subject is "Carr's Regeneration," a story embracing the acts of a youth who finally decides tliat it is much better to be a .'"man than a fool. "A Street Singer" is a pathetic drama, and includes scenes of the various places where these things are of frequent occurrence ; ' but fortunately this one has a happy ending, and her life is made enjoyable at last by that theme of love which runs through every drama, more or less. Tlie Celais Journal is a topical gazette of note. "Why Jim Reformed" is a Western drama, and full of exciting situations. "Ceylon and its Customs, "Peanut Lidustry," and "An {Empire Maker" are fiims that should be.appreciated', whilst the comedies are unique and the fun fast and furious. They are entitled, "A Day m the Jungle,, Deddemus as Artist," ''Bessie,'- -and A Day ih London/ A large house should greet this fine selection.
