The rival engineer sets chase .with another engine, and & mad race ensues along a double track, ending m; a startling collision at. the points. The men have a providential escape from death, and reconcilia-' tion followed m the hospital. A modern fairy tale is the film "Two Little Waifs," which was aho viewed with much interest. The story opens with a. touching scene, illustrating the death-bed of a little girl— the . child of a. wealthy mpther, M'hpse grief is . inconsolableInterwoven with this is the narrative of two little waifs m, an adjoining orphanage, who run away m search of their mother m heaven. The wanderers search the grounds oi a beautiful man-, 1 sion, which m reality is the home of the bereaved mother, who is touched by the appearance of the two mites, and at once decides to adopt them m the place of ncr missing child.
