AUCKLAND, this day. Within the next week or two automatic telephones will be m operation at Auckland. A beginning was made today with SCO lines to meet the demands of the new subscribers. 'A portion of the old telegraph office has been prepared for the reception of the exchange. Provision has been made for 1500 lines.
