DEATHS AT SEA.
SUICIDE WHEN NEARING PORT
(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. * On Saturday afternoon, while the steamer Paparoa was approaching Wellington, a passenger names James fl. Fish, aged 63, proceeding to join his sons at Auckland, committed suicide by jumping overboard. A boat was quickly launched, but the body was not -recovered.
Two other deaths occurred on the voyage. William Mielbourne, aged 50, a seaman, fell from the roof of the officers' house. His skull was fractured, and he died within two hours. George De Sueur, r^ed 27, a, passenger, who had been suffering from melancholia, died of heart failure.
