Tinder present . arrangements the main requirements are an official certificate that the shipment is free from specified disease, and, that" it is packed in new bags, labelled with the country of -origin; At prese*nt the market prioes of . prime potatoes in the respective countries show a difference of about 30s in fa,ypt of New; Zealand, but the cost of shipment, the duty of £1 pes ton landing charges, and re-bagging, costing aboutr 10s, absorbs about £2 per ton, so that at present the margin is not large enough "to secure Australian orders.
