(Press Assn.—By Telegraph— Copyright.) LONDON, May 8. The mechanism of the bombs found in St. Paul's Cathedral and Bouverie Street was clumsy and defective. The Bishop of London invited a large evening congregation to St. Paul's Cathedral to join in thanksgiving for the preservation of the building. He denounced those who are doing devil's work. The Women's Liberal Federation adopted a resolution expressing consternation at the defeat of Mr Dickinson's Franchise Bill, and protested against 75 Liberals voting against the Bill.
