ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
((Per Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, last night. Inspector .Norwood received information this morning that Lorna Warnecke. aged 2\ years, died suddenly at Nokomai yesterday. VWHANGAJREI, last' night. At Hikurangi this morning a man named Olsen, p. stranger to the district. committed suicide by drinking lyeol.
Ernest Lee, driver of the Papamoa (Tauranga) cream waggon, was killed cm Monday afternoon. He was loading some cans, there being at the time several children m the waggon, when the horse started off. Lee endeavored to grasp the reins, but failed, and fejl under the horse. He was kicked, and tne wheel passed over his body. The waggon subsequently capsized, and the cfcuSren were thrown out, but none of them xwrere hurt. . '
