Representatives from Bermudas and Bahamas appeared before thd Committee of Ways and Means of Congress to ask for lower tariffs with their colonies, wliich trade chiefly with the Republic. They stated that ultimately they would ask for full reciprocity. (Received January 23, 3 p.m.) LONDON, January 22. A committee of the Cabinet, with Lord Haldane »s chairman, is considering the Education Bill.
