At a largely attended meeting; of the. local brancn of the Post and Telegraph Officers' Association held last night, thei Public Service Bill was fully discussed, and the following resolution was ear--rie_ .—"That this branch of the Post and Telegraph Officers', Assooiatipn place on, record its dissent- -from the opinion expressed m the' teleraum read m the House of Representatiyss by the Premier from an officer of the service stating that the Public Service Bill was acceptable' td officers generally; the statement was contrary to fact, and he said that Officer' misrepresented the feeling of tlm service generally, he probably not beiiig ih ' a position to truly gauge the feelings of officers on tho matter."
